Work Safety:
Surely you know that consuming
plastic(or whatever) is not what
we're in this for. MY care and use
begins with safety, and ends with
the finest work possible per ounce
of consumption.
What you do is your business, but
.
But don't EAT the stuff!

Starting Tips
Dusting the work area is always
allowed, but cover the clay first.
In fact, I never set a peice of
clay or cane down with taking a
habitual swipe across the surface.
One eyelash could cost you precious
millefiore slices!!

Work Surfaces and Wipes
I use melamine. It's not too slick,
and blade scars can be sanded away.
Use Fantastik™ to deep clean.
Shop wipes(not paper towel) work
great because of their tight weave,
and toughness. I take a few and
cut them into 3" squares that
are also handy for wiping pasta
machine rollers/scrapers. These
towels are a bit expensive, but
you'll be suprised how long the
roll will last when you cut them
up this way...or that!
