What Is MILLEFIORE?

Multiple slices,
(not necessarily a thousand, or flowers for that matter) of design are sliced from a millefiore 'cane' and applied in any number of ways. The method dates back to ancient Egypt, but is much more versatile today with polymer or 'new' clay.

What's Polymer Clay?

Originated for field use by the German military for creation of quick replacement parts, this relatively soft clay bakes into durable plastic in a regular oven.
Scientifically speaking, when the clay is heated, it becomes a straight molecular chain (hard) polymer, stable and safe for decor and normal wear, NOT recommended
for potable water or food stuffs.

What's Special About BEADO?

BEADOPOLIS has produced over a thousand of these canes, and the finest products from them for an entirely new range of clientelle. We have produced over a million beads in about fifteen years, while developing a most unique production line.

Okay...THEN What?

Expert hand-blending, cutting, forming, and reduction techniques are integrated using 'raw' polymer clay, forming abstract or depictional art 'canes'.
Mastery of this media can only be gained by experience.
As methods and machinery amass, greater cane sizes can be attained(or just more intricate ones), slices from which are then applied to beads, giftware, etc.
